  When I couldn't get into my local dealer for almost a month Kelowna Kia got me in almost right away. I dropped my car off a week early because I had a ride back and to my surprise they called me the next day saying it was all done. The service department was fantastic and would highly recommend.

  I purchased a Kia in BC a few years back and moved to Kelowna where I take my vehicle to Kia Kelowna for service. I love my Kia and have been a fan of he company but I’ll never visit this dealership again and recommend people go elsewhere for service and sales if possible.
  
  For service they wanted to charge me to change my tires (on rims) stating that everyone was charging for it now even Kal Tire(!?). I had taken my Mazda into the Kelowna Mazda dealership the day before and was not charged for the same service. After making that point they decided not to charge me in the end (the only good news) I was told that it was a very basic service (oil change and check up) and it would take an hour. I left the dealership nearly two and a half hours later. Expectations are very important.
  
  I am interested and excited about the direction Kia is going especially with vehicles like the Stinger. I was excited to take the vehicle for a test drive while I waited. I’d seen one leaving for a test drive as I drove in. I was considering a short term lease. When I asked the sales person was “at lunch”. I could see what looked like the boss speaking with a sales person in the sales area. After the receptionist called for sales the manager left the sales person who came out to talk. She wasn’t on lunch so great! I let her know immediately that I was a loyal Kia Customer interested in test driving the Stinger. She began explaining some convuluted nonsense about how they didn’t have a Stinger for test driving “because people who buy these cars want to have zero KMs on them”. I mentioned that I’d just seen one go out for what looked like a test drive. She seemed doubtful of that. Blaming the policy on this vehicle that unlike others there is no test drive available. I could see the vehicle and sit in it but I couldn’t test drive it?!? I went outside while she got the key. She took almost 10 minutes. I kept popping my head back in and heard her speaking with the manager in the back.
  
  She came out and explained that yes I was right the Stinger was out for a test drive and that that prospective buyer was further along in the buying process and that’s why they were able to test drive the vehicle?!? At that point the vehicle drove back onto the lot right in front of us while she unlocked the other Stinger they had on display. I took one look at the interior and felt disgusted by the whole experience. I said thanks but no thanks. I wasn’t interested in sitting in the vehicle or doing business with Kelowna Kia again. A loyal customer interested in purchasing another vehicle should never be treated so shoddily and I hope this isn’t something that’s happening at all Kia dealerships.
  
  Up until this experience I’d been singing Kia’s praises to anyone I talked to now my passion for the brand has soured and I’ll never do business with Kia Kelowna again.
  
  The only reason it’s not zero stars is that Kia makes great vehicles.
